Planning Your Music: The Consultation
We want the music to perfectly reflect your story and the tone of your service. Once your date is booked with the church, Dr Rachel Branston will hold a personal musical consultation with you.
Together, you will look through hymn ideas, entrance music, and exit pieces to build your perfect service.
Our Magnificent Organ
You can arrange to have your music played on our magnificent, historic church organ by our resident master organist, Michael Farley.
Note: To ensure your choices fit beautifully within the service and suit our acoustic layout, all external musical selections must be checked and approved during your consultation with Rachel.
A Choir for Your Service
You don’t have to save the choir just for Sunday mornings. You can request our church choir to lead the singing and perform beautiful anthems for all baptisms, weddings and funerals.
Having a live, four-part choir adds incredible warmth, depth, and celebratory energy to the building.
A Bespoke Song Written Just for You
For a truly unique touch, Rachel can use her expertise as a composer to write a completely bespoke song or anthem explicitly for your big event.
Note: Because writing and rehearsing a custom piece takes dedicated time, we require at least three months’ notice for all custom composition requests.
Complete the Tradition: The Church Bells
To complete your day, you can also arrange for our famous church bells to be rung to herald your celebration as you walk out of the church as newlyweds or celebrate a baptism.
